Sarisher Mann is the founder of the Sustainable Alpine Tourism Initiative (SATI), which she set up in 2018 whilst researching sustainability leadership atCambridge University, alongside her job in sustainable finance. SATI connects sustainability pioneers across mountain tourism, infrastructure, the outdoors, policy makers, researchers and local communities. As a sustainability leader, enthusiastic hiker and keen skier, Sarisher is driven by a mission to create a new, solutions driven narrative about climate action and adaptation in mountain regions. Sarisher recently produced the award winning ‘Green Mountain Pioneers’ documentary film focussed on climate challenges and solutions across mountain contexts. The film is currently touring around Europe through community screenings, including a special summer series, which was held to celebrate the UN International Year of Glaciers’ Preservation.
