Laurent’s professional journey has always been driven by a passion for sport, adventure, and discovery. After completing his studies in Sports Science (STAPS) with a specialization in physical education, he briefly taught within the French National Education system. However, eager to dedicate his life to the outdoors, he soon shifted his focus and pursued professional certifications as both a ski instructor in winter and a sailing instructor in summer. This choice allowed him to combine his love for teaching with the thrill of adventure sports, sharing his expertise with clients across seasons.
In 2008, Laurent embarked on a new challenge and undertook a full professional reconversion. He obtained his Airline Transport Pilot License, opening the doors to a completely new world of aviation. He has since flown with “Open Flight”, building valuable experience in the skies while never losing sight of his roots in sport and mountain culture.
Today, Laurent divides his time between two passions that complement each other perfectly: skiing and flying. During the winter, he continues to teach skiing in the French Alps, specializing in off-piste guiding and mountain safety. Throughout the rest of the year, he takes to the skies, offering unique flight experiences around the Alps, allowing travelers to discover the breathtaking landscapes of the mountains from a completely new perspective.
Alongside these activities, Laurent also manages the Hotel Snow Chill** in Risoul 1850, a four-star property where he oversees the financial, commercial, and strategic operations. This blend of hospitality, mountain expertise, and aviation allows him to create unique experiences for guests seeking both comfort and adventure.
With a rare combination of skills as a professional pilot, sports educator, and hotel manager, Laurent embodies the spirit of Alpine adventure: safety, discovery, and passion shared with every guest.
