Hi, I’m Jan and have been a “holiday” skier since getting bitten by the bug back in 1997 on a trip to Lake Louise, in Canada.
I’m not the greatest skier but I love almost everything about it from the freedom, the mountain air, the coffee stops and being able to do something really physical as the least sporty person I know! The boots still kill me though, I don’t like them very much!
Austria is my favourite haunt with my most recent trips taken around Kaprun and surrounding area.
I work as a designer and the snowy mountains often fuel my inspiration for winter patterns. There is something about throwing yourself down a mountain that clears the mind and allows creativity to flow!
