After growing up on the small but mighty Scottish ski resorts, Harris found a passion for freestyle skiing and pursued it daily at the Scottish dryslopes of Hillend & Bearsden. Through competing on the UK scene as a teenager, he was selected for the GB Park & Pipe team and has travelled worldwide competing on the Europa Cup and World Cup Slopestyle circuits.
After Covid restrictions meant spending a snowy season at home, Harris discovered a love for the Scottish backcountry and had an amazing foot-powered season, filming, building jumps and skiing lines in the Scottish mountains. After that season sparked the fire for all aspects of freeskiing, and especially on Scottish skiing projects, he moved away from the Slopestyle competition circuit and began to look at the mountains from a different perspective.
He has now committed to a couple seasons back home in Aviemore, experiencing every type of Scottish skiing in the rain, wind or sunshine. With an enthusiastic outlook on the Scottish scene, he has enjoyed sharing the epic-ness of the Scottish ski community through recent film projects. After directing & producing “Worth It Every Time” last year, Harris & Alex were treated to a much snowier season this past winter to film “Going For A Walk”.
