Ahron founded The Wild Path in July 2025 to fix a problem he kept running into: outdoor jobs were hard to find. They were scattered across niche job boards and company Instagram pages, passed on by word of mouth, or never advertised at all. The Wild Path is now the UK and Ireland’s only dedicated outdoor-sector careers newsletter and talent community. Every week they send 40+ roles to our community of over 30,000. The roles cover the whole sector, from commercial businesses to rewinding charities looking at any role from ranger and ski instructor posts to marketing, policy, conservation and finance jobs.
Before this, Ahron spent a decade in executive search. He now uses that experience to help people break into outdoor work, especially those without the usual connections. He sits on the British Mountaineering Council’s Equality, Diversity & Inclusion Committee. In 2026 The Wild Path was commended in The Great Outdoors Magazine’s Open Outdoors Awards for its work on access and inclusion.
Ahron lives in the Lake District, where he spends his spare time hillwalking, mountain biking and working towards his Mountain Leader qualification.
