Spend your winter at a Japanese ski resort in a hospitality role, meeting people from across the globe while embracing the ultimate snow-season lifestyle. Whether you’re working in guest services, food and beverage, housekeeping, or other resort hospitality positions, you’ll earn money, explore a new culture, and experience a side of Japan most tourists never see – all while making the most of your days off on the slopes. Winter Work Japan connects you with a hospitality job placement at a ski resort for the winter season, supports you throughout your Working Holiday Visa application, and connects you with local support once you arrive in Japan. Your adventure begins with a 3-night arrival orientation in Tokyo, where you’ll meet fellow participants and get settled before heading to your resort. All you need is availability between November and April, a positive attitude, and a willingness to jump into an unforgettable experience!

Eligibility:

• Aged 18-30 years old
• Available to work during the winter season (contracts starting November-early December until mid March-early April)
• Fit the Working Holiday Visa eligibility requirements for UK or Ireland
• Have at least £2,500/€3,200 in savings to evidence to the Embassy
• In good health and of good character, have a positive mindset and the resilience to embrace a totally new culture
