Montgenèvre

Stand details

London 2026 (B50 - French Village)

Set at 1,860 metres on the French–Italian border, Montgenèvre combines the charm of a traditional French Alpine resort with direct access to one of the world’s largest ski areas. For UK tour operators, it offers an attractive mix of snow reliability, extensive skiing, family appeal and easy access from Turin.

The local Montgenèvre ski area reaches 2,648 metres, with 95 km of pistes and 24 lifts. Extending across the border through the Monts de la Lune gives guests 110 km of skiing, while the resort provides direct access to the spectacular Via Lattea – the Milky Way.

With approximately 400 km of pistes and around 70 lifts across France and Italy, the Via Lattea is widely ranked as the fifth-largest ski area in the world by piste length. Skiers can explore famous Italian resorts including Sestriere, Sauze d’Oulx and Clavière, offering guests a genuine two-country ski experience within a single holiday.

Montgenèvre is also entering an exciting new chapter as an official venue for the French Alps 2030 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games. The resort is currently selected to host events in freestyle skiing, snowboard and ski mountaineering, placing Montgenèvre firmly on the international winter-sports stage ahead of 2030.

The resort is equally well suited to families and beginners, with a 50,000 m² beginner area, alongside a wide variety of terrain for experienced skiers. Off the slopes, guests can enjoy 80 km of Nordic skiing, the Monty Express mountain coaster and the Durancia Balneo & Spa.

Accessibility is another major advantage for the British market: Turin Airport is approximately 1 hour 20 minutes away, while Oulx international railway station is around 25 minutes from the resort.

Montgenèvre offers the scale of an international ski destination with the welcoming atmosphere of a genuine Alpine village – and an Olympic future.
