Birchden Vineyards

Birchden Vineyards is a 23–acre family–run vineyard and farm nestled in the beautiful countryside of Groombridge, on the Sussex and Kent border near Tunbridge Wells, only an hour by train from London.

What began as a passion project has grown into a thriving vineyard with community at its heart, producing elegant small batch wines while creating a welcoming year-round destination for visitors to relax, connect and enjoy the beauty of the estate.

Today, guests can explore the vines through guided tours and tastings, enjoy vineyard picnics among the lakes and wildflowers, or visit the popular café for a leisurely breakfast, lunch, coffee or wine tasting flight.

Alongside the growing in-house events programme, which includes workshops, pop–up markets and tasting experiences, Birchden Vineyards also host private celebrations across beautiful and rustic–chic event spaces around the land.

The vineyards have quickly become a sought–after venue for celebrations and team events. Secluded, covered event spaces provide a unique backdrop for birthdays, anniversaries, family celebrations, networking events, team away days and client entertainment all year round.
