I came to cross country skiing as a mature adult and have been skiing now for 15 years. I love being out in nature on a route for the day, especially when the sky is blue and the snow has that magical crystal sheen!
I am passionate about introducing people to the sport and how to do this, so I started an information website for all things “cross country” as there seemed to be a gap in the market. GoXski.com has been running for 7 years and is a self-funded labour of love, which I can devote more time to now I have retired.
I am also the London Region Nordic Ski Club’s (LRNSC) On-Snow Co-Ordinator. This is a voluntary position which mainly involves me organising coached and recreational trips on snow for Club members.
