Sven Putnis is a Consultant Trauma and Orthopaedic Surgeon based in Bristol with over 23
years’ experience. He specialises in acute musculoskeletal injury and knee ligament and
cartilage reconstruction. After years of treating snow sports injuries every winter, he founded
Sven Ski Clinic, a nationwide service that helps skiers and snowboarders get ski-fit before
they travel, supports them while they’re away, and gets them the right care and recovery when
things go wrong.
With ski mindset coach Lou Pode, he founded Ski for Life™. Designed to keep skiers and
snowboarders of every age and ability confident, injury-free and on the slopes for decades to
