Still don’t believe me? Well at the London Snow Show you’ll be able to meet the people behind the poles. Step into a whole new side of the mountain. Whether you’re a dedicated downhiller or totally new to the snow, this is your chance to understand the magic of cross-country skiing and learn about roller skiing.

WHAT TO EXPECT:
Interactive Try Zone
Interactive Shooting Range – Try your hand at biathlon marksmanship in a safe, controlled environment. No prior experience needed, just bring your focus and a steady hand.
Heart Rate Challenge – Want to feel what the pros feel? Get your pulse racing with a short cardio burst, then take your shot. Can you keep cool under pressure?
Speed Trials & Friendly Competitions – Race against the clock or challenge your mates. Fastest shooter wins bragging rights (and maybe a prize or two).
Focus & Form – Discover how breathing, posture, and timing can make or break your shot. Coaches will be on hand to guide you through the fundamentals.

It supports athletes from grassroots to elite level, including military and para sport pathways, and promotes the sport’s unique blend of physical challenge and mental focus. Through training, competition, and outreach, British Biathlon fosters resilience, discipline, and community on snow and beyond.
The Armed Forces Para Snowsport Team (AFPST) is a UK charity that transforms the lives of wounded, injured, and sick service personnel and veterans through adaptive snowsport. By providing expert coaching, camaraderie, and competitive opportunities, AFPST empowers individuals on their recovery journeys, building confidence, resilience, and community. From grassroots development to elite performance, the team showcases the strength of the human spirit and the power of sport to heal and inspire.

Hear all about cross country skiing and watch a roller ski demonstration in the Fitness and Wellness Area
Join our community of Nordic skiing enthusiasts based in and around London, Cambridgeshire and Kent.
Learn to roller ski all year round – no snow needed! It’s great for fitness and fun, plus it’s
the best way to prepare for cross country skiing. We offer tuition and coaching for adults
and children, as well as seasonal tasters, all run by our experienced instructors.
Like a challenge? We organise fun timed events and more serious roller ski races as part of the British Roller Ski Series.
For the ski season we organise value for money cross country ski trips for our members to
the best Nordic skiing locations in Europe and Scandinavia. These range from leisurely
skiing to racing, with some including coaching so you can take your skiing to the next level.
There are social events too like Club walks, kayaking trips, annual dinner and roller ski tours.
